So the closed beta of the Carnivores: Dinosaur Hunter Reborn is live. Closed beta will last from February 26th, 2015 till March 25th, 2015.

Here are some things you should take note of when participating in beta!

Please remember this is a BETA version of the game! We are going to beta test to let you influence the final version of Carnivores. We expect your feedback and notes during the beta test, not reviews. We would like you to help us make the game the way you would like to have. So if you want to play the final game or you don't have time to help us, please consider to NOT participate in beta test.

Don’t Tell!

When you sign up to participate in any beta you agree to the Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) terms. In short, this means you agree not to disclose information about the game. You must read and accept the full NDA before you get placed in the beta pool. Once you enter beta, if you break this agreement you will be removed from beta and further action may be taken.
If you aren’t sure of whether or not you can discuss something outside of the beta environment, ask a member of the development or community team.

The Beta Forums

Everyone who is flagged for beta will be granted access to the beta forums, which are part of the official Carnivores: Dinosaur Hunter Reborn forums. The main forum rules of conduct still apply to the beta section. Information posted on the beta forums falls under the NDA and should not be discussed outside the beta area. You are not permitted to share posts with people on other sections of the forums or on external forums. Even after the NDA is lifted, you are not permitted to share the information.

Submitting a Bug Report

A bug in a game usually refers to something that isn’t working correctly and/or involves some form of error. Some bugs may be very minor ones that don’t keep you from playing the game, like a typo. However, other bugs may be a bit more intrusive, like a bug that causing you to crash out of game.

To report a bug, please send a report in a free form describing a bug to While we do use the beta forums to get more information on bugs, these mails are our main source of information. The bug reports allow us to collect, properly categorize, and track bug report information in a bug database. If you have additional information to submit that cannot be detailed in the bug reports, like screenshots or videos, then please be sure to include these in your bug report.

Submitting a feedback

If the problem is something you just want changed because you don’t like the way it works it shouldn’t be considered a bug; it is considered feedback. Feedbacks can be mailed to Just remember to BE COOL when posting your feedback.

Well, that should be enough to prepare you for being a good beta tester.
See you in beta!
